Meditation with Children
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom belongs to such as these.”
We hear these words from Jesus in Matthew 19:14. They affirm the importance of guiding children into an interior silence and stillness so that they can indeed “come home” to Him.
Are you a parent, grandparent or teacher looking for a way to introduce Christian meditation to the child/children you love?
As we witness all around us today, children are caught by the latest technology, by fast-paced and fully scheduled lives, with little time to just Be. It is remarkable how easily children take to silent imageless meditation, presented in an age appropriate way and length of time, and how much they enjoy it!
