Introduction to On-Line Groups

On-line meditation groups are groups that meet on Google Hangouts. For some people, this is an attractive alternative (or augmentation) to physical groups. Some reasons you might like an on-line meditation group:

  • You do not have a physical group near you.
  • You are unable to travel.
  • Your travel often takes you out of town.
  • You would like to meet more often than your physical group meets.

On-line meditation is still a new experience for WCCM so please bear with us as we work out the details.

The On-Line Group Coordinator is Roger Sessions. His contact information is at the end of this page.

The process for joining an on-line group is as follows:

  1. Find a group you would like to join. This will probably be determined by when the group meets. Note that meeting times are given relative to a city. To translate to your time, you might find this web site helpful: WorldTimeBuddy.
  2. Contact the group leader or the on-line coordinator. He or she will arrange to meet with you to help you get set up and to introduce you to the process.
  3. Start meeting with your group!

If you have any questions about on-line groups or have any technical problems, contact the On-Line Group Coordinator.
